We handle your data with the same integrity that guides our regenerative farming. This policy outlines what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

2. Data we collect

  • Identity and contact data for order processing and account creation.
  • Transaction data including purchases, delivery preferences, and invoices.
  • Technical data such as device type, browser, and IP for security and analytics.
  • Marketing preferences and communications history.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data. If supplied, we treat it with heightened safeguards.

3. How and why we use data

  • To fulfil contracts, including delivering poultry orders and managing partner accounts.
  • To communicate shipping updates, farm news, and service improvements.
  • To personalise experiences, recommend products, and deliver marketing with consent.
  • To meet legal obligations including tax, accounting, and food safety regulations.

Processing grounds include contractual necessity, legitimate interest, legal obligation, and consent.

4. Sharing and international transfers

We share data only with vetted processors supporting logistics, payments, analytics, and communications. All processors sign data processing agreements. When data leaves the European Economic Area, we apply EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data while you hold an account or for as long as required by Dutch law (usually seven years for financial records). Marketing consent records are retained until you unsubscribe. Non-essential data is anonymised or deleted when no longer needed.

6. Your rights

  • Access, rectify, or erase your personal data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Port data to another provider.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

8. Security

Playtira implements SSL encryption, least-privilege access, regular penetration tests, and incident response procedures. We notify authorities and affected users of any breach meeting GDPR thresholds.
